Dream Coaching is a relatively little known facet of dreaming wherein the student may enhance their own dreaming abilities by using the aid of a skilled dream coach.
Often times dreamers struggle with dreaming practices, dream recall and gaining lucidity while in the dream. These are the people who will greatly benefit from the expertise and experience of a talented dream coach.
A dream coach will guide you, coach you and help to enhance your own dreaming abilities, often times simply by lending you some of her dreaming energy and other times, by travelling the dreaming worlds to find you and pick you up.
Most of this action happens on the other side, in the dreaming world although there are some techniques you can use while waking to help enhance dreaming.
Once the student has made the decision to allow the dream coach into his dreams, then the magic will happen. You will soon see that your own dreams have changed, that your abilites have amped up and also that your recall is enhanced.
Dream coaching requires a deep level of trust between coach and student and the student should understand that the coach will never do anything witout the student's permission.
The student will, at all times be in control of allowing the dream interaction. Once sufficient trust is gained, there is no limit to the kinds of things that student and teacher can achieve together.

Let's answer some questions regarding dreaming and the sorts of things that are available to us through the dreaming attention:
Q. What is a Dream?
A. A series of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations occurring during certain stages of sleep. The Second Attention, as Dreaming is also referred to, can also be accessed while awake.
Q. Why do we dream?
A. While Science is still trying to unravel the mysteries of why we dream, psychics, witches and spiritual Masters know that within dreams we can access parts of ourselves that are not readily available in waking hours. To this end, many things are possiible that we cannot conceive of while awake.
Q. How often do we dream
A. This, of course varies from person to person, but it is thought that we can have as many as five dreams per night, with proficient dreamers having close to a dozen. Depending on your ability to immediately recall your dreams upon waking, you may or may not realize how often you actually dream. Dream coaches can help with your recall.
Q. Do dreams contain hidden meaning?
A. Most dreams and their meanings are very specific to the dreamer, however there are certain symbolisms and themes that often to carry across from dreamer to dreamer. A good dream coach will know if the dream symboilism is universal or specific to the dreamer and can then interpret accordingly.
Q. Is it possible to do things in dreams that are not possible in real life?
A. Yes. Using dreams as dress rehearsals for real life events or even as a means to undo or redo traumatic experiences from the past are some of the main benefits of using our dreams to heal and guide us. Often, once we've dreamed a situation many times over, when we come upon it in real life, we already feel as though we've accomplished the task, so it becomes rather easy to carry out.
Q. Is dream healing possible? And if so, how is this acheived?
A. Dream healing is very possible and some healers do much of their work in the dreaming attention. This is because there is less resistance in the dream world, thus healers do not have to fight social stigma, disbelief and denial in order to do their healing work. It is possible, with coaching to learn to heal yourself in dreams.

Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world
Over the years, Lori-ann has had some interesting dream experiences wherein the events of the dreaming world have seemed to bleed over into waking life.
This can be quite disorienting at times, but can also be very exciting. There have been fairly mundane instances when she dreamed that she had gotten up to look at the clock on the wall above her bed and see the time in order to decide if it was time to get out of bed yet. More often than not, it was just minutes before her alarm was about to go off, and upon waking for real, she would check the clock on the wall behind her to see that she had accurately read the time. This got to be a bit of a trick, she would use in order to snatch a few extra minutes of sleep each morning.
There were times when some repair needed to be done around the house -- for example a hot water tank was broken- and before going to bed, Lori-ann made a mental note that it would need to be fixed in the morning. During dreaming that night, Lori-ann was fixing the hot water tank, somehow knew just what to do to make it work. And she did.
Upon waking the next day, as she walked to the room which housed the tank, she could hear it running. On closer inspection, she could see that somehow the hot water tank had mysteriously been fixed during the night and was now working, as good as new. There was plenty of hot water for the house and the repair man didn't need to be called out.
Another time, during an especially vivid lucid dream, Lori-ann was flying and diving and running with a group of people. During her travels that night she jumped over a shrub and on landing, caught a small handful of the shrub in her left hand. The dream ended with Lori-ann riding off on a bike with a dream friend, but when she awake the next morning, she was not mentally prepared for what she would find.
When she awoke, she found that her left hand was tighlty clasped, as if holding on to something. Opening up her left hand that morning, she was shocked and amazed to see, clapsed within her palm, a small piece of foliage, exactly the same as the shrub in her dream. It was nothing she had ever seen before and neiher was it a plant that she had in the house.
Defying any real explanation, this experience showed Lori-ann that many things are possible in the dreaming attention and that what we know and are aware of is barely just the tip of the iceberg. So much remains inexplicable, unfathomable and beyond our wildest imaginations.
As long as we are open minded, the dream worlds have so much to teach us.
Here is an example of a beautiful healing dream I had many years ago
I started out inside a little girl's dream. (as far as I knew) the girl didn't know she was dreaming, she was running and playing like nobody's business. I think she was 11 or 12, but quite small for her age, due to an illness. We played around outside in a park where there were no other kids, just the girl and I. The weather was warm a few clouds in the sky.
When I woke up from this part of the dream, I was standing beside the little girls bed. She was in a sort of coma, curled up in the foetal position, small pink blanket covering her tiny frame. I fixed her blanket so that she was completely covered and went to sit beside her Mother at the foot of the bed.
Her mom was very upset and crying until the little girl began to move a bit.
Then the mother got very excited. The little girl hadn't stirred in quite some time.
I put my arm around the Mother and I could feel all the love she had for her daughter. Just then a strange sensation came over me. I felt and energy, and a light come down from above and fill me up, completely taking me over. I raised my hands high above my head and used them as a channel for the energy.
I sort of tipped my body back and allowed the energy into me and channeled it through me to the little girl. My eyes began to feel funny and I could feel them rolling back in my head as if I was in a trance. Then I began to levitate a few inches off the bed I continued soaking up the energy and sending it to the little girl until the trance was over.
Afterward, I snapped out of it and sat back down on the bed. Looking at the little girl, I could see she was waking up. She got up and walked over to her Mommy as if nothing had happened. She gave her Mom a big hug and kiss.
This was an especially nice dream, good loving feelings.
I have had other dreams in which I have done healings, usually but not always on children. At first I just thought them to be normal dreams, though they felt different, somehow. Then one day I met two little baby girls that I had recognized from a previous healing dream. They had come to my restaurant for breakfast with their family. In the dream I healed one baby, in real life, there were two, twins. I came to find out that they had childhood leukemia and were currently undergoing treatment. Also found out that one of the babies was named Lori Anne.
I remember this dream clear as day, even now many years later. I was sitting in a hospital waiting room, outside of an operating room. I was holding the baby in my arms, she was waering the tiniest hospital gown. I wasn't sure what the illness was, but knew that she needed my touch. In this dream I could see the energy go from my hands to her little body. It was an indigo coloured light.

Most of the time, when I dream like this, I don't get the chance to meet the person of my dreams. But rarely, occasionally as in the dream of the twins above, spirit brings me together with someone in real life. I can't really describe the feelings when this occurs, its like my heart just opens up and I feel such love and gratitude for everyone and everything. I feel like I have been given the greatest gift to share.
Other times, I'll do a dream healing on a friend or loved one and in real life, we won'tspeak of it, but that doesn't really matter, because to me, when I am part of a healing, I don't do it for recognition, so it's okay if the sudden abssence of illness is looked at as a miracle or as though the docs had misdiagnosed. I'm okay with that as I am just grateful to have been given the opportunity to do soemthing, to make something better.
When I do get real life validations, meeting people I've seen and worked with in dreams, at a later date, in waking it is very rewarding. It is wonderful proof that some of the work I've done in dreamings is real and is helping, The truth is, though, many times the only validation I will get is what I feel in my heart. And my heart knows when I touch someone else inside of a dream, it is just as real as if we had met in waking.
An example of a Spirit Journey that Lori-ann may do on your behalf:
Journey to the Basement
I decide to go and started to fly. Looking beside me I see I have a horned owl and a great blue heron with me. We fly away. I don't know where we are as we pass over mountains and more mountains. We are flying so fast that I do not recognize anything. Until we come to a lake. Then I realize where we are. We are back in Osoyoos. I hear a voice say to me “there are twelve.”
We land in the lake and I go down in to the water.
By now I have fallen asleep and thus begins the dream. We start to make our way down a very crowded street to gramma’s house. It seems we are in the midst of a carnival or parade of some sort. With hundreds of people all dressed in costumes. Although everyone there seems to be wearing only three types of costumes. There are Witches and vampires and red-headed clowns. The clowns appear to be fighting with each other. Getting physically more aggressive as we walk. I can not see myself or Owl and Heron now so I have no way of knowing which form we have taken now.
Once we arrive at grammas house, we sit down at the kitchen and engage in some conversation. I want to go home as I feel I am late, but nobody there will let me go. So I get up and go in to the bathroom. Gramma is in there and I don’t wait for her to get out, but climb into the tub, naked. I am totally submerged in water and I cover myself with a large black towel or robe. Just then I realize I am dreaming and have wandered away from the journey at hand. So I decide I must get up and finish the journey and I get out of the tub.
I wake up and as I walk to the back stairs heading to the basement I pass a large basket with two very large white eggs inside. I grab the eggs and carefully put them in my pocket. Then I remembered I was going to take Bear with me on this journey so I call to her. This time instead of coming with me, Bear comes in to me. I hold my hands to my face and see they are paws. I walk down the mostly dark stairs and stop at the bottom to pick up what looks to be a staff or walking stick. As I pass the bathroom the lights are on so I go in and look in the mirror. Bear is looking back at me. This gives me some courage and I decide to go to the room.
When I get there I remember the key. I open my paw to see that I am carrying a large shiny gold or brass key. In doing this I drop the eggs. When I turn around to pick them up I see that owl is still with me and he picks them up and keeps them for me. I nudge the door before I try the key and it opens slightly. So I figure I did not need the key for this door. I go in to the room and look around.
Still quite dark, cold, damp. I hear a voice say to me "Get up on the table" I look around and see no table. Then I am told (without a voice) the word “Father” and I understand it not in the patronly sense, but as in a man of the church.
Then I come back to myself
And am shown a new scene:
There is a large wooden door with a deadbolt on it. Someone, a man in black dress holds again the key. Uses it to open the door to perhaps an office. I see a black or dark coloured sofa and a desk or table. The man sort of sits/leans on the desk and puts his hand on his pants in the area of the zipper. In front of and facing him is a small girl.
I leave again and skip to the next scene
This time I see My uncle's apartment. The same one I wasn’t able to go to in my soul retrieval. It's kind of dark, like maybe if the curtains were closed and it was daylight outside. I see my cousins; they are drinking some medicine from the fridge.
So I say to myself in the here and now "I wasn’t there.
Where was I?
Where was uncle?"
I hear a voice say “upstairs, man with key”
Next I see a very old lady somewhat resembling mother Theresa. Lying in a small white bed with cotton sheets. She is almost smiling, but looks distraught at the same time. It is apparent to me that she is dying. To the left of her bed, but to my right I see a small swarm of bees.
Next I see a hole in the ground down and to my right. It is partially covered with a clump of dirt. I remove the clump and see a big chubby fluorescent worm inside it. The worm tells me to give it to him. So I gather up all the negative energy I acquired on this journey and give it to the glowing worm. I watch it spin and turn and spiral downwards like a twister back into the earth. I close the hole with the same clump of dirt.
END
Some of the feelings and images that can be dredged up as a result of Spirit Journeying can be difficult to deal with, especially if they are suppressed memories of traumtic events from childhood. For this reason, it is a good idea to inform a good friend before you decide to go on a Spirit Journey.
While your dream Coach can uncover the hidden pieces of your past, you will want someone close by to help hold you together, should the memories that surface be hard to digest.
The Coach will provide the student with techniques tool and practices in several sessions to help with the student's dream recall.
Subsequent sessions may include dream interpretation in order to show the student hidden messages or meanings from the Spirit.
Your Dreaming Coach has at her disposal abilities to see into your dreams if they are heavily symbolic in order to pass along messages, ideas or solutions from the Spirit itself.
A dream reading is an indepth look into a specific dream or series of dreams and then applied to your life to be used as a map in order to guide you into your future.

Dream healings, although they take place on the other side, often have noticeable effects in waking. This can be done by the coach alone or with student and coach in tandem with the patient. This is usally done in two or three sessions depending on the level of healing required.
During Soul retrievals and Journeys, the Coach uses her seeing and the help of any allies or totem animals that may choose to come to her aid, to look through to the dreaming attention to things which the Spirit shows in need of attention.
Depending on the intent and questions the student may have, the answers may come in the form of symbols, pictures or stories. The student and coach will decode these journeys together based on what resonates for the student.
Snatching -- The sudent gives the teacher permission to enter his dream resulting in enhancement of the students dreams, lucidity and recall. Once inside the student's dream the Dreaming Coach can navigate and help the student perform actions, play out scenarios and work on personal healings.
Snatching can take several attempts before the student is open enough to receive the Coach into his dreams. The more willing and open the dreamer, the easier it will be for the coach to enter his dream.
Over several sessions, the Coach will provide the student with tips and Tools to help the student have more or better Lucid dreams.
This will include exercises to be completed while awake as well as tasks to complete in Dreaming.
